I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a therapist who’s deeply passionate about helping anxious overachievers (like myself) feel seen & giving them strategies to improve their daily experience alongside anxiety.
Searching for a coach FOR therapists?
That likely means you have a private practice or want to get started, and you need the right help to fill your caseload with private pay clients you love to work with.
I am here to help you.
Are you struggling to get up and running?
Do you want to get off insurance panels?
Are you ready to fill your caseload?
Do you need help with marketing?
Are you burnt out and ready for a new way?
With a background in therapy AND business, I’ve made it my mission to show therapists exactly how I filled my caseload with private pay clients and made $200,000 in my first year of private practice.
If this sounds like exactly what you’re looking for, you can check out the programs I have available for therapists below.
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, accountability, and authenticity.”
— Brené Brown
Now, I have an Instagram audience totaling over 118,000 anxious humans and private practice therapists. I spend my time in client sessions, coaching therapists on building their private practice, and partnering with brands I believe in…
… in between rewatches of Grey’s Anatomy and snuggling my husband Tom and pup Jozi on the couch.
The personal details you’re dying to know
I’ve been an anxious overachiever for as long as I can remember. I was one of those kids in “gifted” programs who was upset when she got a B and of course still made time to join all the clubs and sports teams.
In my professional career, I’ve done a lot of different things besides being a Therapist.
I have worked in inpatient substance abuse settings, schools, community centers, homeless shelters, and nonprofits.
Before going into private practice, I worked in a senior leadership position at an NYC nonprofit where I managed several large programs, over $10 million annually, and a team of 70 people. I oversaw programs working with young adults and veterans - providing housing, mental health counseling, case management, and employment services.
Even though I LOVE my job, it’s not my entire personality.
I have hobbies, and you should, too!
I love reading psychological thrillers. If you’ve read any good books with a little murder and a plot twist, send them my way.
I’m always game for a good concert. This year I’m seeing the Killers, Taylor Swift, and Swedish House Mafia and I CANNOT WAIT.
Last year I hiked in Hawaii and Patagonia, sipped wine in Portugal and France, and went to weddings in Denver and the Dominican Republic.
I’m slightly obsessed with ClassPass and trying new workout classes. They make moving my body feel like fun, rather than work.
Kelly’s Not-So-Street Cred
I received my Bachelors of Social Work, Masters of Social Work, and Masters of Business Administration from Florida State University
(in four years total, because I’m an anxious overachiever remember?!)
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), and Intuitive Eating (IE).
As a therapist, I use an integrative approach, meaning that I will use a combination of therapeutic techniques depending on what my clients need.
Everyone is different!
